Getting involved in extra-curricular activities

Getting involved in extra-curricular activities during fresherslive Week can be a great way to get to know your new university and socialise with the students. These events are organised by different organisations, such as the Student Union, sports clubs, and societies. Some even organise their own events, allowing students to come together and enjoy each other’s company. In addition, students can also enjoy a wide range of themed events, such as a night at the theatre.

Get involved in extra-curricular activities during London Fresher’s Week. Joining student societies is an excellent way to start making friends and structure your life in London. These societies are typically represented at the Welcome Fair, where you can sign up for as many as you want. You can join as many societies as you’d like, and some of them will even host introductory events in hiperdex. The events take place in central London, so get involved as soon as possible!

Meeting new people

If you’re a first-year student in London, you’ve probably experienced the thrill of attending an exciting university open to international students. But, as a new student, you may be worried that this week is going to be too busy, too stressful, or just too exciting! But, fear not, London Freshers Week is also an excellent opportunity to make friends and socialise with locals. Here are some tips for meeting people during the freshers’ week:

Join a society. Joining a society can be a fun and unique way to meet new people. Most societies have stalls at Freshers’ Fairs and you can get to know other students and find out what they’re all about. You can also sign up for societies at Queen Mary Students’ Union. Here you’ll be able to learn more about what’s on offer and how to get involved in toonily.

Getting involved in clubs and societies

One of the best ways to get involved during your first year of university is to join a society. Joining a society will give you a sense of routine and a chance to meet like-minded people. During freshers’ week, you can join as many societies as possible and make new friends. If you’re new to London, try to get involved with a society during your Freshers’ Week.

Most freshers agree that the best part of freshers’ week is the nightlife. You can find all sorts of themed events, foam parties, silent discos, pub crawls, and theme nights. If you’re a social creature, you might even try a new sport! Whether it’s golf, football, or basketball, there’s a society or club that’s perfect for you.

Making friends

One of the best ways to make friends during your first week at university is to attend as many freshers’ events as possible. These events can include everything from yoga and walking tours to clubs at Fabric. These activities are fun and a great way to make new friends and bond. Make sure you go to these events with your course mates as you are likely to have an incredible time in timesweb. Having course mates will also be useful if you miss lectures or other activities.

To summarize

Make sure to meet people from your school as well as those at uni. You can then make friends with your flatmates and coursemates as well, which doubles your new friend circle. Of course, make sure you stay away from people from your uni as these friends will most likely be your roommates and classmates throughout the rest of your university life. However, if you have a few friends who are also from the same university, this could be a great way to get to know them better.
